Day - Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Zanzibar

Meet on arrival at Zanzibar International Airport or harbour, transfer to Tembo House Hotel or similar properties set in the heart of Zanzibar Stone Town overlooking the Blue Indian Ocean. Dinner and stay overnight in BB basis. 

A guided town tour takes you through narrow streets of the old Stone Town, where history seems to stand still. Visit the House of Wonders, Fredy Mercury House, the Arab Fort, Zanzibar’s bustling market, former slave market, Tip Tipp House, winding alleyways, ornately carved and studded doors and balconies, two cathedrals and mosques.

You will have free time in the afternoon to explore Stone Town further on your own or to relax. In the evening, take a sunset cruise along Stone Town waterfront. Stop at Forodhani gardens for a glance at the evening life. Dinner at a local restaurant or at the hotel. BB 

After breakfast, you are transferred to Kizimbani Village for a spice tour. You will have the opportunity to see spices like cloves, cinnamon, black pepper, Nutmeg, turmeric root, actually growing in the plantations. Other tropical fruits such as jackfruit, custard, apple, rambutan, carambola can also be seen and tasted. Furthermore, you will see plants like the henna bush, lipstick tree and lemongrass.
Visit the Kidichi Persian Baths built under the first Sultan of Zanzibar named Sultan Said Said bin Sultan in 1850 and the Maruhubi Palace Ruins built in 1880 which were built especially for housing 99 of the third sultan’s harem. Lunch is included. After that, you will be transferred to your respective beach hotel. Welcome drinks, Dinner and stay overnight on half board basis. HB. 

After breakfast, free & leisure days at your Beach Hotel, optional activities like Deep Sea fishing, Diving, snorkelling at Mnemba, trip to the Rock Restaurant, day trip to Mikumi, Selous or Saadani National Park etc. can be arranged at additional cost. Lunch, Dinner and overnight as per your booking.

After breakfast, relax at your beach hotel or transferred to Stone town for you last shopping before taken to Zanzibar Airport for your flight back home or your next destination.

Day - Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival Zanzibar

Arrival at Zanzibar Airport, meet and greeted, road transfer to the best selected hotel located in the Heart of Zanzibar Stone Town or near to the city. Check in, welcome drink, relax at the hotel or free walk along narrows within the city, before dinner and overnight as per your booking.

After breakfast, picked up by our guide and transferred to Fumba Village for your full day picnic on safari Blue where you will do snorkeling and sunbathing and if you a lucky will see dolphin. After the above tour we will take you back to your hotel for dinner & overnight as per your booking. 

After breakfast, picked up by our guide for City Tour (stone town tour), Sultan Palace, House of Wonders, Old Slave market and other interesting Historical sites are among the topic to be seen and visited in this guided Tour.
After the City tour, we shall go to a local Restaurant in town to have lunch and enjoy a really African food or drive to the spice farm and have lunch in one of local houses. Later on, we will proceed to the Spice farm for the Spice Tour, the rare Experience that proves out why Zanzibar is referred as to the Spice Island. After the above excursions you will be transferred to your beach hotel for dinner & overnight night as per your booking.

Day - Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and transfer to Beach

Arrival at Zanzibar Airport meet and greet road transfer to beach resort which is located in the Southeast Coast of Zanzibar. Welcome drink upon arrival, check in and relax. Dinner and stay overnight in HB basis.

Enjoy free time to relax on the beaches and swim, snorkel or dive in the clear warm waters. A cocktail and a golden sunset go hand in hand, so be sure to indulge as the sun melts away and the sky turns to night. In the evening, wander the streets and choose a restaurant in which to kick back and enjoy good company and delicious cuisine. Dinner and stay overnight in all HB basis.

After breakfast we drive to Kizimkazi fishing village for a dolphin tour, after arriving we take a motorized boat and start searching for dolphins. If we lucky we can use about 5 to 10 minutes cruising on search of dolphins. After swimming with them we go to shallow water for snorkelling before getting back to the beach for taking shower, have lunch and a bit of beach leisure. After leisure we drive to Jozani forest to see the red colubus monkeys and visit the floating mangrove bridge. Jozani has an excellent nature trail and the guides are well trained and informative. A walk through this impressive flora and fauna is one of the highlights Zanzibar has to offer. After the tour we drive back to the hotel for dinner and stay overnight on HB Basis.

A guided town tour takes you through narrow streets of the old Stone Town, where history seems to stand still. Visit the House of Wonders, Fredy Mercury House, the Arab Fort, Zanzibar’s bustling market, former slave market, Tip Tipp House, winding alleyways, ornately carved and studded doors and balconies, two cathedrals and many mosques. After the tour we take lunch by our own cost before taking a boat to Prison Island. The use of the island has changed overtime.

Although it was originally built as a prison it was never put into that function. Later it was used as a quarantine of slaves for the whole of East Africa. The remnants of the built are still visible. The island offers a stunning view of the Town especially during the night; there is very beautiful minor sandy beach where swimming on the crystal waters is marvelous. The coral reefs surrounding the island provide an opportunity of snorkeling. This is also a home of the giant tortoise, which is now under strict conservation. A short-guided tour around the island will provide the real picture. After the tour we ride back to Stone Town to catch our vehicle to the hotel for dinner and stay overnight.

After breakfast, relax at your beach hotel or transferred to Stone town for you last shopping before taken to Zanzibar Airport for your flight back home or your next destination.

The day is left free to wind down after the safari before your flight home. Depending on flight times you could go and explore Moshi town and grab some souvenirs before heading to the airport.
*Mount Kilimanjaro trekking, Wildlife Safari and other add-ons are available if you wish to continue exploring Tanzania.
