10 Days - Tanzania Safari and Culture

ITINERARY

On arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met and assisted by Hello Africa Safaris representative. You will then be transferred to your hotel in Arusha arriving in time for check in. Rest of the day at leisure. All meals are excluded.

On this day, early morning breakfast at the Hotel, you will depart to Marangu (Moshi) for a day trip where you will spend the whole day for the Water falls Excursions, walking around the village to learn and experience how the local natives run their daily life, as well as visiting Chagga ancient caves which Chagga people used to hide themselves during fighting between them and Maasai People. You will have local lunch there. Evening drive back to Arusha Dinner and overnight as per the standard and type of accommodation option requested. (B, L, D).

After Breakfast you will be picked up from hotel and depart to Tarangire National Park for game drive with picnic lunches. Tarangire is famous for big groups of Elephants and astonishing landscapes where guests will have an opportunity to experience the few remaining ancient large Baobab trees. Dinner and overnight as per the standard and type of accommodation option requested. (B, L, D).

After Breakfast you will be picked up from Hotel and depart to Lake Manyara National Park for game drive with picnic lunches. Lake Manyara National Park provide unique wilderness experience Including diverse landscapes such as rifts valley soda lake, open grasslands, dense woodlands and stunning mountain insides, In the afternoon visit Mto Wa Umbu township; sightsee, enjoy and indulge yourself in the diverse culture of Tanzania as you take a guided walking tour through the local streets of Mto wa Mbu, returning to the lodge. Dinner and overnight as per the standard and type of accommodation option requested. (B, L, D).

After breakfast, set off and drive to the shores of Lake Eyasi and visit the Hadzabe & Datoga indigenous ethnic group
The Hadzabe & Datoga-are an indigenous ethnic group in north-central Tanzania, living around Lake Eyasi in the central Rift Valley and in the neighbouring Serengeti Plateau. There are, as of 2015, between 1,200 and 1,300 Hadza people living in Tanzania, however only around 300 Hadza still survive exclusively based on the traditional means of foraging. As descendants of Tanzania's aboriginal hunter-gatherer population, they have probably occupied their current territory for thousands of years, with relatively little modification to their basic way of life until the past hundred years.
You will have packed box lunch, and in the afternoon visit Simba Milima School, before returning to the lodge. Dinner and overnight as per the standard and type of accommodation option requested. (B, L, D). 

After breakfast, you will be picked up with our driver guide with picnic lunches and proceed to Serengeti National Park for game drive, on the way you will have chance to visit Maasai Village and experience many traditional aspects of Maasai life, but also see how the Maasai adapt to development and contact with modern civilization. All visits are planned and arranged by Maasai themselves, they will show you their tradition Maasai dance ad singing, different type of Maasai houses, tradition beard ornaments, the O’Brien School for the Maasai and you can also walk with their cattle o the plains. Afternoon depart with en-route game drive to Serengeti National Park for Dinner and overnight as per the standard and type of accommodation option requested. (B, L, D).

After breakfast, Full day game drive in Serengeti National Park. The endless plains of the Serengeti lie 330km of Its 15,000 sq kms support the annual migration of over 3 million wildebeest, zebra and other plains game as they follow the rains in their continual search for grass and water. They are closely followed in turn by Africa’s largest concentration of lion and a host of other predators. Evening return to the standard and type of accommodation option requested for dinner and overnight. (B, L, D).

After breakfast, drive to Olduvai Gorge, one of the world’s most important Palaeolithic sites. Arrive in Ngorongoro for hot lunch, Dinner and overnight as per the standard and type of accommodation option requested. (B, L, D).

After an early breakfast at the lodge descend into the crater for a half-day game drive in Ngorongoro Crater (exiting the Crater not later than 12.00)
Ngorongoro Crater: Often referred to as the eighth wonder of the world’ the Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s best-known wildlife arenas. A World Heritage Site, it is also one of the largest volcanic craters in
the world (almost 20 kilometres wide, 610-760 meters deep and covering a total area of 264 square kilometres). An utterly unique biosphere, the Crater harbours grasslands, swamps, forests, saltpans, a freshwater lake and a glorious variety of birdlife, all enclosed within its towering walls. Due to its high concentration of wildlife, close-range viewing opportunities and striking scenery it is also Tanzania’s most visited destination. Dinner and overnight as per the standard and type of accommodation option requested. (B, L, D). 

After breakfast, morning leisure, Arusha City Tour lunch on your own account. Following with Hot lunch. After lunch, you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your international flight. back home.
