Arrival Date & Accommodation

  • Day 1: Your arrival day in Arusha is included in the group package, with one night of accommodation in Arusha before the safari begins.
  • Extra Night Charges: If you arrive earlier than the group’s official arrival date or wish to stay longer after the safari, additional nights in Arusha will be charged separately.

Pick-Up & Drop-Off (Not Included in the Package)

  • Airport Transfers (Pick-up & Drop-off) are NOT included in the package price.
  • The cost of airport transfers depends on arrival time, flight schedule, and group size.
  • If you require a transfer from Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK) to your hotel, it can be arranged at an extra cost.

Transfer Costs:

  • Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) to Arusha Hotel: $70 per vehicle (1-4 people).
  • Arusha Airport (ARK) to Arusha Hotel: $30 per vehicle (1-4 people).

  • The safari follows a fixed itinerary, and departure dates are set in advance.
  • Travelers share a safari vehicle (usually a 4×4 Land Cruiser with a pop-up roof for wildlife viewing).
  • Accommodations range from Budget Tented Camps to Mid-range Lodges or Luxury Camps, depending on the package you choose.
  • English-speaking Safari Guides lead the tour, offering insights into the wildlife and landscapes. (extra Language guide on request)
  • Meals and park entry fees are usually included in the package, making it a hassle-free experience.

Day 1: Arrival in Arusha
  • Arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport and transfer to your hotel in Arusha.
  • Relax and acclimatize to Tanzania’s atmosphere.
  • Meet your group for a short safari briefing
  • Optional exploration of Arusha’s local markets or a stroll around the town.
  • Overnight at Arusha

  • After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park (approximately 2-3 hours).
  • Full-day game drive in Tarangire National Park, known for its large herds of elephants and the iconic baobab trees.
  • Spot a variety of wildlife, including giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, lions, and a wide array of birdlife.
  • Visit the Tarangire River for excellent wildlife viewing, especially during the dry season when animals flock to the water.
